🎄3D Christmas Tree Cookie!🎅

225g butter, softened 110g caster sugar 275g plain flour 1. Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4. 2. Cream the butter in a large bowl or in a food mixer until soft. Add the sugar and beat until the mixture is light and fluffy. 3.Sift in the flour and bring the mixture together to form a dough.

4. Using a rolling pin and a lightly dusted surface, roll out the dough, 1-2cm thick, cut out star shapes of various sizes and place on a baking tray. Bake in the oven for 13-15 minutes or until they are a light golden brown and slightly firm on top. 5. Allow to cool.

To build- Mix icing sugar with water until the mixture is paste like, and not runny, adding a drop of green food colouring. Stack the stars on top of each other with the icing, biggest at the bottom. Use icing sugar to stick on the 'baubles' i.e candy or alternatively decorate however you like!
