πΉπΉ Bubbly Blood Orange Campari Cocktail ππΈπΉ
posted in Recipes on 5/24/2015

This bubbly blood orange Campari cocktail recipe is with fresh blood orange juice, Campari and champagne or sparkling wine. Campari is an Italian spirit that has a very distinct red color and a bitter taste. The quantity from recipe are for 2 drinks, you can adjust based on the number of drinks you want to make. Keep in mind that blood orange are very pulpy and not as juicy as regular oranges, but their flavor is more intense. You can also make this drink with regular oranges, tangerines or grapefruit if you can't find blood oranges.
Also, if you are just making this drink for two people you can use a mini bottle of sparkling wine, unless you want more than one drink each. For a mock-tail variation of this drink, you can use alcohol-free bitters to replace the Campari and sparkling grape juice or lemonade to replace the sparkling wine.
INGREDIENTS
2-3 large blood oranges, juiced, about 1/3 cup juice
1oz Campari
4-5 oz of chilled sparkling wine- choose from prosecco, champagne,
Ca as, brut, etc

1. Pour 1 1/2 oz of blood orange juice in each champagne flute.

NOTES
For a mock-tail variation of this drink, use alcohol-free bitters to replace the Campari and sparkling grape juice or lemonade to replace the champagne or prosecco.
