10 Delicious Detox Smoothies ๐

If your looking to help your body detox, give one of these healthy smoothie recipes a try.

1. Basic Detox Smoothie
1. Begin by choosing a high fiber fruit. Apples and pears with the peel on are among the best detox fruits.
2. Select a citrus fruit to add to your smoothie blend. You can use lemons, oranges or grapefruit, adding as much as you like.
3. Blend the ingredients in a high powered blender.
Enjoy.

2. Basic Green Smooth
3 cups of milk of your choice
1 Banana
1 cup of frozen berries
1 tablespoon of almond butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 handfuls of spinach
4-5 leaves of kale
Method-
BLEND.

3. Spinach and Grapefruit smoothie.
One bunch of fresh spinach
2 grapefruits
One bunch of red or green apples
1 banana
1 slice of fresh ginger
2 medjool dates
2 cups of filtered water
Ice
Method
BLEND
put all into a blender and blend into a refreshing cool, delicious drink.

4. Lemon-Lime Detox Smoothie
1/2 medium lemon
1/2 medium lime
2 medium bananas
1 large orange, juiced
1-2 cups chopped kale or spinach
Start by adding the liquid to your blender followed by the soft fruit. Add the greens to your blender last. Blend on high for 30 seconds or until the smoothie is creamy.

5. Flaxseed-Oil Detox Smoothies
Ingredients
1โ2 each banana
2 eachice cubes
1 cup juice (pineapple, apple, grape)
1 tbsp yogurt
1 tbsp flax seed oil
Method
Mix all ingredients together in a blender. Try adding protein powder, fresh or frozen berries, cherries or any other fruit. This smoothie is great for breakfast or a snack.

6. Green Tea, Cinnamon, and Honey Smoothie
1/2 cup green tea, chilled
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon high-quality honey
1/2 banana
Method
Add one to two scoops of ice to blender along with all ingredients.
Blend until smooth. Serve immediately.

7. Ginger Pear Smoothie
1 cup water
1 pear, peeled and cored
1 cup baby spinach
1 tablespoon flax seeds or flax seed meal
1/4 inch ginger, peeled and minced (or grated)
1 tablespoon honey to sweeten
Method
Add all the ingredients into your high speed blender and blend for around for 30-45 seconds.

8. Carrot Beet Smoothie
1 carrot, peeled, sliced
1 beet, peeled, sliced
1/2 cup red grapes
1 clementine, peeled
1 slice of ginger, peeled, about the size of a quarter
1/2 cup green tea
Method
Steam carrot and beet until just tender, about 10-15 minutes
Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.

9. Sunflower Sprout Smoothie
1 cup fresh sunflower sprouts, packed
1 tablespoon raw honey
1/4 avocado, pitted and peeled
1/2 cup almond milk (I like the Blue Diamond brand, Original)
1/4 cup water
4-5 ice cubes
Method
Combine the ingredients above into a Blendtec, or good powerful blender until smooth and creamy.

10. Winter Green Smoothie
2 apples, cored and cut into large chunks
2 pears, cored and cut into large chunks
handful of fresh or frozen cranberries
1 to 2-inch piece of fresh ginger
2 cups of water
6 to 7 large kale leaves
4 to 5 large collard greens
handful of fresh parsley
Blend all the ingredients together, serve cold
