10 NATURAL REMEDIES FOR WHITENING DARK UNDERARMS
1. Lemon: Lemon juice’s citric acid gradually dark patches and evens your skin tone. Simply slice open a lemon and rub it across the armpits. You can add a few drops of honey to a lemon before applying it directly to the area. Wait five to 10 minutes before rinsing off with cold water. 2. Potato: Take a thin slice of potato and rub your underarms with it for about 5-10 minutes and then wash off with lukewarm water.
3. Yogurt: Apply a small amout of organic plain yogurt to exfoliate and moisturize the skin as well as lighten and brighten it. Leave it on for 5mins and rinse off. 4. Cucumber: You can use cucumber to make your skin tone lighter as it contains natural bleaching agent. Simply apply cucumber juice under the arms using a cotton ball and wait for 15mins before you rinse off. 5. ACV: Apple cider vinegar can also help reduce dark patches and soften skin. Dilute ACV with equal quantity of water and use it on the armpits for 5-10mins.
6. Milk cream: Apply whole milk or cream under the arms and leave it on for few mins to lighten and whiten the skin naturally. 7. Honey: To brighten and lighten your skin, apply honey for approximately 15 minutes. Wash it off later with cold water. 8. Turmeric: Turmeric paste can be applied to the discolored area to help exfoliate and lighten the skin. Mix one teaspoon of turmeric powder with three tablespoons of lime juice to form a thick paste. Wash off after 10mins.
Natural underarm scrubs 9. Lemon and sugar scrub: Cut a lemon in half and dip it in sugar, or just squirt a few lemon drops and mix with sugar. The sugar exfoliates dead skin cells while the lemon will detoxify and brighten the skin. 10. Baking soda scrub: Baking soda scrub acts as a gentle scrub, removing dead skin cells and also gives a little bit of lightening effect for dark skin.
