12 DIY Kool-Aid Crafts! Simple And Fun!

There are so many fun things to do, and the packets are extremely cheap!

Kool aid hair dye: take at least 2 packets of kool aid dye and pour them into a cup or bowl of hot water. Sit with your hair in the water for 30 minutes. It's this reason people just do the tips. After 30 mins rinse your hair until the water runs clear. Don't shampoo.

Kool aid play dough: 1 Cup Flour
¼ Cup Salt
1 Packet Kool-Aid
⅔ Cup Water *You will end up using between ½ and ⅔ cup.
1 Tb. Oil. Mix the flour, salt and kool aid together. Seperately mix oil and boiling water. Pour water into dry ingredients while stirring. Only add water until mixture is dough.

Kool aid dyed pasta: great for crafts. Mix a packet of kool aid with hot water and 2 cups of dry noodles. Mix until kool aid is dissolved and add food colouring if you wish for extra vibrancy. Put into plastic bags and shake until noodles are completely dyed. Remove and leave out for 6 hours to dry.

Kool aid lip balm: take as much Vaseline as you like and heat in 30 second increments stirring in between. Continue to do this until Vaseline is completely liquid. IT WILL BE HOT. Stir in kool aid until desired colour. Reheat if it solidifies. Let cool 2 hours before using.

kool-aid packet (1/2 teaspoon)
rubbing alcohol (1 teaspoon)
plastic gallon bag / large ziplock bag (freezer bag)

baking sheet / baking pan / cookie sheet (cont )

Add a cup of rice to a freezer bag (make sure it's really thick!) and add 1/2 tbs of kool aid powder. Add 1 tsp of rubbing alcohol. Shake the bag until rice is saturated. Pour the wet rice out and allow to dry for 6 hours.

Kool aid frosting: add kool aid to vanilla frosting. It will taste like whichever flavour you choose!

Just dip yarn into a cup of hot water with kool aid. The amount of water doesn't matter as long as the yarn is covered. You can either near boil the water (while stirring) or heat in a microwave for 2 mins increments, taking it out to stir. You'll know it's done when the water is clear.

Kool aid bubbles: all you need to do is add water, a hefty squirt of dish soap and a kool aid packet!

Kool aid slushies: place 1 cup ice, 1/2 packet of kool aid and 1 cup of water into a blender and blend until smooth. Add 2 cups of additional ice cubes and blend until slushie. Serve immediately.
