3 Things You Learned About Contouring That Are Wrong!

What's more viral than contouring? Misinformation about contouring 😩 From color to placement, lies have cut our cheeks.

1. Placing your contour too high

By placing your contour higher up (see picture on the right), you can give yourself a quick face lift! Kim Kardashian's makeup artist actually uses this technique on her, and other artists like Wayne Goss recommend this placement for women who want to look younger

2. Using the wrong shade to contour

Cool grays are universally recommended for creating a "natural looking shadow," but this is often wrong! If you have a medium to dark skin tone with a warm tone, you can look natural with a warmer contour color, since your skin already has those tones.

3. Not contouring for your face shape

If your favorite YouTuber's contour tutorial didn't work for you, it's not due to inexperience on your part. You should adapt contouring to best accentuate your face shape!
