On a busy morning, a relatively easy breakfast is a quick parfait using homemade made granola, yogurt and fruits.

To keep it interesting, I like to change up the flavor combinations from cinnamon apple to peanut butter and banana. You can’t go wrong with a breakfast where the first ingredient is oats

In the morning, combine the pre-packed frozen fruits/ vegetables with the other ingredients in your smoothie i.e. yogurt or milk and you are set to go!

To increase the nutritive value of muffins, I like to substitute all-purpose flour with whole wheat flour and reduce the amount of fat by substituting half of it with unsweetened yogurt or fruit puree.

To make overnight oats, you simply combine and mix the oats, milk, sweetener and other flavorings to a jar/cup, refrigerate overnight, and in the morning you have breakfast!

As with most do ahead breakfast foods, chia seed pudding is easily prepared. Combine the seeds with your milk and sweetener of choice, refrigerate and eat at your leisure.
