Cramps can hurt more than a bullet wound sometimes so these are some tips to surviving them.

Rick Socks can be your best friend for the first couple days of your period.
Here's how to make one.
Here's how to make one.
Homemade Rice Socks:
•A large old CLEAN sock
•A few cups of rice (don't use wild)
•rubber band
Many hospitals use these and they help so much.
Fill the sock with basically any rice except long grain or wild rice because we don't want it poking through the sock and then tie off with a rubber band.
Heat up for about 2 minutes and your are set.

If you don't like rice socks, Barley heating packs work just fine too.

Use pressure points located on your back to relieve pressure on the uterus.

Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables especially oranges and dark greens for rich vitamins and iron.

These yoga moves work so well for relieving pain and don't be fooled by some people, exercise is GREAT during your period.

Use acetaminophen based medicine or ibuprofen to relieve pain fast and easy or caffeine pills and drinks work too.

Please take a shower, baths will leave you bathing in your own blood. It's nasty, I know when it first starts its hard to stand up for too long but don't listen to people who say baths are the best. Ugh.
I know my boss would kill me if I wanted to take a day off of work for my period so I use these tips overnight and in the morning and I'm ready for the day.
