Aspirin Mask

It contains Salicylic Acid AKA Beta Hydroxy Acid, widely used in cosmetics as it is able to slough off skin cells thus preventing the clogging of pores. Benefits of salicylic acid for skin are that it removes the top layer of the skin and reduces the discoloration of the skin.

Dissolve 3-4 uncoated Aspirins in a few drops of mild water. Add more water if needed until you get a mix that can be applied on the face. Let it rest for 15 minutes (until it dries and undissolved pieces start to fall off). Rinse off with lukewarm water using a washcloth.

This mask is recomended for all skin types, although it shows best effects on oily skin and skin prone to acne, zits and blackheads. Apply this mask no more than twice a month.
