Chocolate Chip Cookie Topped Brownie
Ingredients needed:

Brownies:

1 stick melted unsalted butter

1 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 eggs

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/3 cup cocoa

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt


Cookies:

1 cup + 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 sticks butter, softened

3 ounces granulated sugar

3 ounces packed brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 egg

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

How to:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees and grease a 8 x 8 baking pan (or use non-stick cooking spray). 

For the brownie portion: Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Pour into greased pan. 

For the cookie portion: Combine the butter, sugar, egg and vanilla in a large bowl and beat at a medium speed for two minutes, then add the remaining ingredients and beat until combined.


Drop the chocolate chip cookie dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto the brownie batter, ensuring that the entire dish is covered evenly. 

Bake for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the middle of the chocolate chip cookie topped brownies comes out clean.
