Cleaning Makeup Brushes

I have a lot of "cheap" make-up brushes, and a few expensive ones. When I priced brush cleaner, it cost more than my brushes. :-/ I found that you can use a little bit of dawn dish soap in the palm of your hand and running water and the brushes come very clean and soft again. Here's how I do it.

After rinsing and repeating if needed for brushes that didn't get clean the first time, squeeze the excess water out of the bristles and lay flat to dry, usually over-nite. A thing of Dawn is 99 cents plus you can usually find a coupon and get it cheaper. No need for pricy cleaners!!
