Cranberry Orange Scones

Cranberry Orange Scones Print Ingredients 2 c. flour, sifted 3 T. sugar 1 T. Baking powder 6 T. margarine 2 T. orange zest, finely minced ⅓ c. dried cranberries (do not use fresh) 1 egg, beaten ½ c. milk
Instructions Mix flour, sugar & baking powder. Cut margarine into flour mixture until crumbly. Add orange zest & cranberries. In another bowl, beat together egg & milk. pour liquid mixture into dry ingredients, mix on a lightly floured surface, rool out dough to about ½" thickness, cut out dough with a cound or shaped cookie cutter. Bake at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if you wish.
