Cream Cheese Marble Brownies!!
- 150g unsalted butter - 200g dark chocolate - 1tsp vanilla extract - 250g golden caster sugar - 3 eggs - 75ml water - 100g plain flour - pinch of salt - 150g cream cheese - 60g caster sugar - 1tsp vanilla extract - 1 beaten egg
1. Preheat oven to 170 degrees celsius. Grease a 20cm square tin with melted butter 2. In a bowl set over a pan of simmering water, melt the butter and chocolate. Once melted, stir in the vanilla and allow to cool for ten minutes 3. Stir in the sugar, and then beat the eggs in one at a time
4. add the water, beat until smooth, and then fold in the flour and salt 5. For the marbling mixture, combine the cream cheese and sugar, then beat in the vanilla extract and egg 6. Spoon the brownie mixture into the tin, followed by the cream cheese mixture
7. Using a skewer, lightly swirl the tip of the mixture until you get a marbled effect 8. Bake in the oven for an 1hr- 1hr 15, or until a skewer comes out clean 9. For best taste, allow to completely cool 10. Enjoy!
