Tape the sides of your shoes so you don't get any paint on the rubber. Take out shoelaces and inside padding.
Dab paint around the shoes. The colours should look like they are naturally fading. Use water & lighter colours to blend easier.
Flick white paint from a brush for the stars.
Et voila!

To prevent the paint from seeping from the front of the shirt, through to the back; create a cardboard insert.
Because you're painting with a sponge, you need less paint spread over a larger surface area. Put a small amount of paint on wax paper & fold the wax paper to smooth it.

Dab paint on like this. Start with the darkest color on the bottom. You can use red, blue, green, brown etc-- it all looks intergalactic.

Paint the colours on like this. It won't look entirely right until all of the colours are on and it's dried. Put white paint on a toothbrush & drag a craft stick across the top of the bristles. Start from the top of the brush Towards you- the paint will splatter backwards. Do as many as you'd like!

GALAXY PANTS
- black jeans. Scour thrift stores for some cheap ones
- A spray bottle filled with two parts bleach (javel) and one part cold water
- acrylic paints (Liquitex Heavy Body in Titanium White, Brilliant Blue, Medium Magenta and Pyrrole Red)
- toothbrush
- sponge
- plates or containers

Spray bleach on the jeans. Don't spray too much right away! Wait until orange spots start appearing and spray some more if you want the spots to be more intense.
Mix your first colour and use a sponge to apply it around the orange spots. Paint lighter areas with a periwinkle shade.

Brighten certain areas by applying white paint. Now to make some stars! Pour a tiny bit of water in a small container and add a blob of white paint. Dip a toothbrush in it and pull the bristles back with your fingers to create some white speckles. Try putting more speckles on the lighter areas.

Make some last adjustments: lighten some areas by sponging more white paint or spraying more bleach until you're happy. If the seam looks weird, spray bleach along it and add some stars.

GALAXY SCARF
☆A black scarf (cotton works best. Painting on linen leaves the fabric super stiff!)
☆Soft fabric paint (white- found at Walmart.)
☆Simply Spray fabric paint (Also at Walmart.)
☆Small paintbrush
Ps. If you want to make a galaxy scarf without paint, you can use bleach.

First, spread out a thin layer of white fabric paint on a flat surface. Bunch your scarf up into a wad, and dip small sections of the scarf into the paint. Space it out fairly. Next, wad up the scarf to naturally spread the paint and rub the fabric together to get rid of harsh lines.

Spray the rest of your colours on randomly. Don't hold back, or your scarf will look rigid. Leave some white spaces though. Next you paint the stars on, like the picture, or flick it on like in the other projects.
You can use these methods on anything; skirt, hoodie, hat, dress, bra & panties etc.
the possibilities are endless. You can also combine the tutorial methods to do whatever way is easiest for you.
If you wash on a light setting with the clothes inside out it should be okay, though after a couple washes you may need to redo the stars. You can also wash by hand in cold water.
Hope you enjoyed and thanks for reading!
