There are many causes of dry skin I have stated some mains ones below;
• harsh soaps
• hot, long showers
• itchy clothes
• some medication can also cause dry skin
• misusing a moisturiser

How to get rid of dry skin;
- if you have dry skin, get a moisturiser which is oil based & doesn't contain alcohol or perfume.
apply onto skin when skin is damp. (Not when skin is dry)
When you come out of the shower, don't dry your skin completely, leave skin damp & apply an oil based moisturise

Apply extra moisturiser on dry areas such as elbows, knees.
Make sure you massage moisturiser throughly.

- choose showers instead of baths
Make sure the water is warm not hot also try & limit how long you are in the shower.
Pat water on skin, don't rub water off skin, afterwards straightway apply moisturiser.
It's also best to skip the shower jel.

- avoid harsh soaps
For dry skin care, look for milder, fragrance-free soaps. That's not the same as unscented which may still have perfumes. For many people with dry skin, the best choice is a mild skin cleanser rather than soap.
Using aqueous cream as soap is often recommended too.
- Some clothing can be itchy, these clothes is irritating the skin, it's best to get clothes that doesn't itch your skin & something your comfortable in.
- lots of medication have a side effect which can be dry skin, this can be a reason of why u have developed dry skin.
Vitamins to take for dry skin;
- vitamin A is vital for those that have dry skin, it helps rebuild the Skin tissues.
- vitamin E is vital for a healthy, glowing skin. Vitamin E can also be found in foods like olives, sunflower seeds, peanuts, almonds, wheat germ and leafy greens.
- vitamin C, helps makes skin supple. broccoli, cauliflower, tomato, brussel sprouts and cucumber are good sources of this vitamin.
-vitamin B1 & B3 boosts circulation, giving you an overall healthy looking skin. Foods with vitamin B3 are; broccoli, tomatoes, carrots & vitamin B1; egg yolks, nuts

warm up olive oil, and apply onto skin & face, massage thoroughly, best to do this before bed or after a shower.
Try & apply olive oil on 3-4 times a week.
You can use baby oil or coconut oil instead of olive oil but I found olive oil works best.
