Snowman strawberries!
Snowman strawberries!
Snowman strawberries Time: 10 minutes Ingredients: Whipped cream Strawberries Method: Take the leafy part off your strawberry, cut the tip off just enough to make a hat. Hollow out your strawberries only a little to place the whipped cream, you'd want something thick like a double whip so it doesn't melt. Fill your strawberries with the cream and go a little over the top to make a snowman head and place the hat on top, if you can; remove two of the seeds on the strawberry to make eyes. To decorate; put cream on top of the hat for a little Pom Pom or down the front for buttons. Enjoy!
What about a more savoury snowman? Try boiled eggs!

Chocolate bowl desert Ingredients: Sterilised balloons Chocolate Whipped cream Berries Ice cream Method: Fill your balloons with air only halfway, the bigger the balloon the bigger your bowl. Once filled melt your chocolate on a double boil; you can achieve this by boiling water and putting a bowl over the steam and that heats it up enough to melt the chocolate without wetting it. -->
Once chocolate has melted, coat the balloon in a layer and leave on a tray in the fridge or freezer to set. Make sure you do this on baking paper or wax paper so it doesn't stick, you'd need to repeat this process 2-3 times to ensure a sturdy chocolate bowl. Once the third layer has set pop the balloon and carefully remove it leaving you with just the bowl. As your scoop of ice cream and layer up with whip and berries for a wonderful holiday desert. For extra decoration you can alternate between chocolates per layer to have a multicoloured treat! Enjoy!

Reindeer Cupcakes!
Perfect snack, or even cute for school food!
Reindeer cupcakes Ingredients: 4 cups of sifted self raising flour 2 cups of sugar 2 eggs 2 cups of milk 1 tbsp baking powder 1 tbsp vanilla essence 2 tbsp melted butter 1 tbsp of your favourite holiday spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, both? Etc. ) Decoration- Chocolate icing (I used ready made) Smarties Pretzels Method: Preheat your oven to 180 degrees fan forced for 20 minutes. -->
combine your dry ingredients for your cupcakes, sifting your flour, adding sugar, spice and baking powder and stirring well. Combine your eggs and milk into a separate mixing bowl and whipping them until light and frothy before adding them to your dry mix, once mixed combine the last of vanilla and your butter for a smooth cupcake mix and pour carefully into your cupcake moulds. For extra festivity use Christmas themed cupcake tins. Bake your cupcakes on 180 degrees for half an hour or until cooked right through and golden on top. --> Still continued (sorry..)
To decorate: Waiting until your cupcakes have cooled right down is ideal so the icing doesn't melt. ** Cut the top off your cupcakes and using a cookie cutter, cut a smaller circle, this will be the about of your reindeer. layer the chocolate icing on top keeping it perfectly smooth. Put the cut nose on the icing but don't centre it, icing the nose is optional. Leave room for the pretzels as they will be the antlers on the top half of the reindeer. Using icing as glue, glue a brown or red smartie as a nose on top of the snout and two colours as the eyes. Use black gel icing for pupils!
