Easy: Cranberry Red Wine Spritzer

Cranberry Red Wine Spritzers, makes 3-4 servings
Needed: 1 bottle of red wine, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon (or a few cinnamon sticks—I was out) 1 cup chopped cranberries and club soda to serve.

Needed: 1 bottle of red wine, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon (or a few cinnamon sticks—I was out) 1 cup chopped cranberries and club soda to serve.
Chop cranberries in half. Then fill to a cup. You don't need them to be finely chopped. In a small pot, combine the wine, sugar, cinnamon (sticks) and cranberries. Bring to a boil and stir to dissolve the sugar.  Reduce heat to a simmer and allow to cook for 12-15 minutes until wine has reduced

d (if youre wine reduces much faster turn the heat down or remove from heat entirely). Allow wine to cool and remove cranberry pieces. Then chill in the refrigerator. When you are ready to serve, fill a glass with half wine and half club soda.

For the cranberry garnish simply skewer cranberries onto a small wooden stick (mine are kabob sticks). Rinse with water and generously sprinkle with sugar. Then freeze for an hour or overnight so the sugar adheres to the cranberries.
