Easy Homemade 3-Ingredient Lemon Ice Cream!🍋🍦😋

Ingredients:
-2 c. REAL® whipping cream or heavy cream
-1 c. granulated sugar
-2 lemons
-2 c. REAL® whipping cream or heavy cream
-1 c. granulated sugar

Directions:
1. Chill a large mixing bowl and the beaters of an electric mixer (or whisk attachment of a stand mixer) in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes. Remove from the refrigerator and pour the whipping cream into the chilled bowl. Beat on high speed for one minute. Add sugar and continue to beat on high speed until soft peaks form.
2. Zest one of the lemons; finely chop the zest. Add zest and 6 tablespoons fresh lemon juice to the whipped cream; stir gently until combined.
3.Cover and freeze until mixture is set, about 4 hours or more.
*This homemade Lemon Ice Cream is tasty served on its own, alongside angel food cake or pound cake, or with gingerbread.
