Halloween Oreo Cake Bars

1 pkg. Halloween Oreos Halloween Funfetti Cake Mix (15.25 oz.) 1 egg 1/4 c. oil (Canola or Vegetable) 1/4 c. milk

Start by spraying a 9"x9" baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Cover the bottom with Oreos. I used 16 cookies. In the bowl of an electric mixer, mix together cake mix, egg, oil and milk. Batter will be thick. Spread or more like press the batter on top of the Oreos. I just used my hands because it was easier that way. The Oreos will want to come up and move around, but just do your best to work the batter towards the edges while keeping the cookies in place.

You can see those cute black and orange sprinkles from the Funfetti. Now crush up about 7 more Oreos and press them on top of the batter. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately 20-25 minutes.

Then you'll have pure delight in dessert form! I took it a step further and put together a simple Halloween-themed gift with my Dollar General supplies. I cut the bars small and put a few in, along with some pumpkin face gumballs and festive Sixlets. I tied it with a piece of adorable "Boo to You" ribbon. This would be a perfect way to "BOO" your neighbor! These bars are completely delicious! I hope you enjoy them too!
