Home Made Egg Rolls
What you will need: Egg roll wrappers 1 lb ground ground beef, turkey or ground chicken 2 stalks carrots 2-3 broccoli from crown 1/2 small onion Green onion 1/3 wedge of cabbage Jalapeño Handful bean sprouts 1 clove minced garlic 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder Pinch of dried ginger or 1/2 tsp fresh minced Salt pepper to taste 1-2 tbsp soy sauce In skillet: Add tbsp of oil to medium heat Add ground meat, garlic and onion powder, drain when done Prepare: Chop onions, peppers, cabbage, broccoli, and thinly slice carrots, finely cut 1/2 jalapeno Mince garlic and ginger
Add everything chopped to skillet Add soy sauce Cook for 7 min, spooning ingredients on occasion Remove from heat and let cool Lay egg roll wrapper in a diamond shape on plate Spoon filling to bottom corner, leaving a border on the edge Roll up and bring in corners, roll forward and set seam side down on plate Continue process until all are filled In separate skillet add 1/3 cup desired oil ( I use sesame or coconut oil) to medium heat Add egg rolls and use tongs to move/flip over otherwise it will burn Place on plate with paper towel Serve with soy sauce for dipping&Sriracha!!!
