How To Apply Foundation The Right Way

Once you find your skin tone, preferably close to the color of your neck, wash your face, and moisturize.

Next, put some of the foundation onto either your hand or a palette of some sort. Taking a foundation brush, which is usually thicker, dab the foundation onto the apple of your cheeks. Spread the foundation along the jaw from the apple towards the chin.

Once you have finished the cheeks, even it out by brushing it onto your forehead, nose and chin gently. Don't forget to blend the foundation towards the hairline and the neck.

After you think your skin tone looks even and not bright orange, like mine was when I first used foundation, you can use a finishing powder to set it and dull the super shine. I use a tinted one, but there are also ones that aren't tinted. That is how to use foundation! :)
