How To Look Flawless In Photos

Makeup artists use different techniques when creating a look that will be photographed. Learn the differences here!

Use a light hand when applying your setting powder! Using too much can lead to a very... illegitimate look.

On the other hand, you can be a little more heavy-handed with color (eye and cheek) products - the photo will wash them out, making them disappear if you haven't applied enough.

Use a foundation without SPF! Using one with SPF can cause a white cast in your photos, making you look pale.

When you're done with all face products (foundation, blush, bronzer, highlighter, powder, etc), make sure to blend thoroughly!

Use bronzer and blush liberally for a sun-kissed look! Make sure to set oily parts of your face (they will look extra shiny on camera). The Deciem foundation looks amazing as a foundation primer, with light-diffusing particles to blur imperfections.
