How To Make A Simple, Healthy Rotini Salad With Italian Dressing
This is an easy and healthy Rotini salad that can be done in less than 15 minutes. Here's what you need: 1. Triple Trio Color Rotini Pasta (any brand of your liking) 2. Italian dressing 3. One red pepper 4. One green pepper 5. Broccoli 6. Cauliflower 7. Parmesan cheese (optional)
First, in a pot boil water. Once the water is boiling add a tsp or capful of olive oil. Then, add the pasta. While the pasta is cooking, dice the green pepper, red pepper, broccoli, and cauliflower into tiny cubes. Then in a bowl marinate the vegetables with Italian dressing.
When the pasta is done, strain the water and let it cool until the pasta is no longer wet. Once the pasta is no longer wet and it is cool, in a salad bowl (or whatever bowl you like) place the cooked pasta and add Italian dressing. Be very generous with the dressing until you are satisfied.
When the pasta has enough dressing to your liking (remember apply a lot of dressing if not the pasta won't absorb it), place the marinated vegetables. Mix the pasta, vegetables, and dressing all together. Your Rotini Italian Dressing Salad is now ready to serve and enjoy!
Tip: if you are not serving the pasta immediately, place it in the fridge to keep cool and fresh.
Also if you want to use a wooden salad bowl, before placing the ingredients, pour very little olive oil. With a napkin, rub the oil all over the bowl. This will prevent the bowl from absorbing the dressing and the pasta will absorb dressing instead.
