posted in Recipes on 10/18/2013

To start off with, grab any type of containor you'd like to cook in and line with carrot shavings as well as onions and any other veggies you may like.
Following the first step, take your whole chicken and rinse it under the water and then place over bed of veggies. Take whatever seasonings you would like to put on your chicken and rub them all over making sure to get in all the crevices
For my recipe I used:
2 tbsp of paprika
1 tbsp of dried minced garlic
2 tbsp of crushed rosemary leaves
1/2 tbsp of ground pepper
1/2 tbsp of salt
2 tbsp of garlic powder
Half of a 4 oz organic butter brick (slightly melted)
And drizzled olive oil
Mix all ingredients together and rub chicken

Most like potatoes with their chicken so I added potato wedges I cut from farmers market small white potatoes and added all around the chicken. The flavours will be combined in both chicken and potatoe wedges
Cook in over for about an hour and 15 minutes at 425'F making sure to take the temperature of your chicken to be sure its cooked properly. Use your cooking chart to see just where your chicken falls of your chart temperature wise. Once cooked serve as is with steamed veggies of choice :)

The finished product, roasted chicken with steamed broccoli and potato wedges from the farmers market :) mmm
