How to dye your hair red without bleach

If you want to dye your hair red without damaging or bleaching it, follow these easy steps!

What you will need: Loreal High Colour Highlights 30 developer Bowl Brush

You can buy this hair dye at Sally's beauty supply for around $7-$10 or on Amazon for $5
-this is ONLY for dark hair!
it comes in many shades of red. choose whichever one you like!
the most popular shade is magenta.
if you want your hair to be more burgundy, try the shade deep auburn red

You will need to get 30 volume developer to mix with the hair dye. This will lift your hair color and make it lighter.

Get a bowl and brush.

Mix equal parts hair dye and 30 developer.

seperate your hair into sections whichever way is easier for you.

make sure you cover the area you're working in with old towels/newspapers and wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, so you don't make a mess! this dye is hard to remove from furniture & clothes rub some Vaseline on the back of your neck and around your ears & forehead so that it doesn't stain your skin. (even if it does, it will come off)

start applying the hair dye to your hair.

make sure you get all your hair

or if you want highlights or ombré, make sure you get as much as you need

keep your hair dye in for around 30 minutes. wash it out with lukewarm/cold water. don't worry if you see a lot of red coming off when you wash it, it's completely normal.
