I Love Schedules
Schedules are difficult to go by, but if you go by a schedule for at least 3 weeks, it becomes easy There are different types of schedules, and there are different things people like to do during the day. First; is there anything consistent in your life right now? Work schedule? Classes? ----->>
If you do have a consistent schedule with anything in your life, work around that schedule. Things people want to schedule in to their daily routine; 1. Working out 2. Running errands 3. Laundry / cleaning house 4. Recreational time If you want to work out daily, decide when it works the best.
If there are things getting in the way of your work out schedule, find a schedule for those things as well. If it's going home and watching TV, put in your schedule a TV time. If it's grocery shopping, make grocery shopping at a certain time on the weekend or after you work out. ------>>
If it's matter of remembering, set your alarm on your phone Label it, 'you have 10 minutes to get dressed to work out' or 'time to work out' If you can program your alarm to play a certain song, try to find one that will motivate you or remind you how important it is. It doesn't have to be a song.
If you have a difficult time getting enough sleep, set an alarm telling yourself that you have 15-30 minutes to get ready for bed. This will give yourself enough time to change, brush your teeth, lock doors, let the dog out, clean up, etc. --------->>
Wherever you go first in the morning or whatever you see first when you get home, write a schedule and put it in that area, for 3 weeks, until the schedule sticks. This could be as simple as next to the toilet, or on the fridge. Example schedule ----->>
First, figure out how you're spending your time now. Keep a daily log. What do you want to change? Example of a daily schedule: Wake up at 5am Work out 530-630 Shower 645-700 Get ready for the day 700-800 Leave for work 830 Work 9-5 Dinner 530-630 Work out 700-800 Get ready for bed 830 Sleep 9-5
Example of a Weekly Schedule Sunday - church / Grocery Shopping Monday - Laundry Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday - Laundry Friday - Run Errands Saturday - Clean House Just an example of what you could do. Put in a time in your daily schedule for laundry, or cleaning.
