Make Up Brush Cleaner
posted in Makeup on 3/15/2014

Your makeup brushes need extra care for them to be in pristine condition. Cleaning your brushes regularly will not only get rid of any bacteria that can cause breakouts but also give you a perfect makeup application.
Here are few tips to deep clean and condition your makeup brushes using one of the following natural brush cleaners:
Baby Shampoo brush cleanser
Baby shampoo is gentle and cleans the brushes effectively. Fill a small bowl with warm water and add baby shampoo or mild dish washing detergent to it to clean your brushes.
Vinegar Brush Cleaner
Use vinegar to clean you brushes, you will surprised how clean and soft your brushes will be.
* 1 cup warm water
* 1 tbsp of baby shampoo
* 1 tbsp of vinegar
Olive Oil Brush Cleaner
Olive oil is great to naturally soften and condition your brushes.
* 2 parts of baby shampoo
* 1 part of olive oil
Mix the ingredients together in jar/container or a spray bottle of your choice.
Clean the makeup brushes in 3 simple steps:
Swirl: Pour the cleanser on to the plate and swirl the brushes around in the mixture for about 1 minute.
Rinse: Rinse the brushes under warm water and gently squeeze out the water ( wash only the bristles of the brush so that the water may not touch the handle of the brush which may loosen the glue holding the hairs together )
Dry: Blot the excess water on a paper towel. Reshape and air dry with the bristles pointing down to dry overnight.
