Pasta with Garlic Parmesan Cream Sauce

Pasta with Garlic Parmesan Cream Sauce
1 lb of pasta 1 Tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil 3 Tablespoons of butter 1 Tablespoon of chopped garlic 1/2 Teaspoon of red pepper(optional) 2 tablespoons of flour 1 cup milk 1 cup chicken broth 1-1.5 cup of shredded Parmesan cheese 4-5 scallions
Cook pasta according to directions. When pasta is half way done, start cream sauce in a pot. Add butter, olive oil, and garlic, and sauté on med-low heat until butter is melted and add the red pepper. Mix in flour. Add milk and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, stir until thickened. Add Parmesan and mix until melted. Serve over pasta and add green onions.
