Simple Tips To Help You To Lose Weight

posted in Health & Fitness on 7/19/2015
You can follow these tips if your goal is big or small. If you want to go down a dress size or even lose half of your body weight they'll work for anyone. I've used all of these myself and lost all of the weight I wanted to :) hope they help.
1) WEIGH YOURSELF IN THE MORNING! I know people say this is cheating but if you weigh yourself at the same time every day it won't impact the amount you've lost/gained since your last weigh-in. Weighing yourself in the morning rather than the evening or the middle of the day is a real confidence booster because obviously you won't have any food that you've eaten adding to your weight, this boost in confidence will motivate you to keep working to achieve your goals.
2) KEEP A FOOD AND EXERCISE DIARY I'm not talking about counting calories. You just make a note of everything that you eat or drink all day, even water, and any exercise you do. Even if you just use the stairs instead of the lift or walk to work; write it down! It all counts. Writing down what you eat, drink and do will encourage you to make healthier choices, eat less and exercise more. (But only if you're totally honest with yourself)
3) USE A REWARD SYSTEM! When I was losing weight the system I used was simple, for every lb I lost I put a pound coin in a jar and once I lost my goal of 38lbs I spent the money on a body on dress that I was scared to buy before I lost the weight and I felt amazing. Obviously in different countries you'd put away something else but I thought that a £ per lb was a cute idea and made me laugh. It just motivates you because once you reach your goal you can buy something to reward yourself
4) DONT KEEP YOUR TOO BIG CLOTHES "JUST IN CASE" It's easy to slip up when you heave your old too-big clothes there to fall back on so get rid of them. Give them to charity.
5) ALLOW YOURSELF TREATS FROM TIME TO TIME If you're super strict with yourself ALL THE TIME you won't be able to enjoy your new body when you get it. Allow yourself one or two "treat days" every week where you get to drink some alcohol have a little chocolate or add extra salt to your food. This will help suppress the urge to binge on the unhealthy stuff
6) CHEW SUGAR FREE GUM Whenever you are really craving something sweet or are feeling the urge to snack between meals when you know you shouldn't chew a piece of gum and if that doesn't help then actually eat something because you shouldn't starve yourself, which brings me onto my next point...
7) DONT STARVE YOURSELF! Starvation diets are dangerous and don't lead to long-term weight loss. Just don't put yourself through that
8) DO IT FOR YOURSELF Lose the weight so that you're happy with your own body, not to impress or seduce anyone else. It's your body and your choice.
9) MEASURE
measure your waist and any other areas that you think are too large every week

And that's it. Enjoy your body and do this for yourself, no one else. :)
