Slow Cooked Beef Pie & Mash Potato. Delish 👌

Ingredients: Beef pie- 1kg gravy beef/stew beef 3/4 cups beef stock 420g can of condensed tomato soup 3 large carrots (shave them with potato peeler) 3 large onions (cut however you like) Plain flower (May or May not be used) Sour cream mash- 10 large potatoes (I use a mix of regular and sweet potatoes for extra flavour) 1 cup of sour cream 2 cups of shredded tasty cheese You can experiment and adjust the ingredients based on how many people you will be cooking for!

Method: Beef filling: 1. Fry all the beef, don't cook it through just fry both sides for a few minutes and throw them in the slow cooker 2. In the fry pan add condensed tomato soup, beef stock, carrots and onions and heat through until the soup is no longer thick and it all mixes together. 3. Turn on slow cooker to low 4. Add the ingredients from the fry pan into the slow cooker with the meat, put the lid on and leave for 6 to 8 hours. Remember to check on it through the day and make sure to mix it especially during the last 2 hours.

Mashed potato: 1. Cook your potatoes on the stove (times vary for everyone) 2. Once they are cooked drain the water out and rinse off the potatoes 3. Put the potatoes in a big bowl to mash 4. Once mashed add sour cream slowly, making sure not to put it all in at once, stir it through with a fork to keep it fluffy. Add some a table spoon of butter and mix in. (Salt and pepper can be added if you like but isn't needed) Side notes- Preheat oven as potatoes are close to boiled Remember to time it so your potatoes are cooked and mashed 15 minutes before serving time.

Once the potatoes are done and the stew is cooked and ready, pour the contents of the slow cooker into a large oven dish and cover the top of it with the mashed potato and sprinkle cheese as desired over top. Chuck it in the over for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Take out and serve Hopefully you'll enjoy this as both my family and I love it! Any Qs just let me know :)
