Spring Cleaning Tips For People Who Hate Cleaning #tidytip

If you have a hard time motivating yourself to clean, here are some tips to help make spring cleaning more easy and fun!

1) Get creative! You can use simple everyday household items to make cleaning easier. Like using a dustpan to fill up a mop bucket

...or using dryer sheets to scrub off water stains

...or using the dishwasher to clean waterproof toys (just make sure to turn it on low or turn the heat setting off!)

...or using an old toothbrush to clean hard to reach places, like in between the keys of a keyboard

...Or socks to clean up hair off of the floor

...Or even use soda to clean your toilet! The acid will help break down the stains. Just leave it in for a few minutes before soaking. It's even been said that it can help unclog a toilet

2) Invest in easy cleaning! If you want to make cleaning a bit easier, buy something like the magic eraser to help get the job done

3) Make a game out of it! This is especially helpful if you have your kids helping you (or if you're just a kid at heart). Start a game of trash can basketball, have a broomstick sword fight, or see who can clean the most by the end of the day

4) Throw on some music! Music can always help set the mood. Play something fun and upbeat to get you moving

5) Dance! If your music is playing, who's to stop you? Even if you don't have music, dancing will help to pump you up

6) Take TV breaks! Don't put off cleaning just because your favorite show is supposed to be on. If you can't go without TV, try to clean as much as you can during the commercial breaks.

7) Reward yourself! Promise yourself a nice dessert or something else you really love if you reach your cleaning goal. Cleaning is so much easier to get through when you have something to look forward to at the end of the day
