TIP BUSTERS (Do these tips really work?) 😬
The cinnamon honey tea.
The cinnamon honey tea.
šŸ“ What it claims: By using this recipe, drinking half of it before bed, refrigerating and drinking the other half of it in the morning, you can loose "weight" (unspecified how much). šŸ’šŸ» My experience: I really liked the tea, so it wasn't painful, but I didn't lose a lot of weight in a span of 5 days. The tip doesn't say how long you should repeat this, but either way I didn't see a difference. šŸ‘€ My verdict: Don't do it and save your cinnamon and honey for other things.
The inverse method.
The inverse method.
šŸ“ What it claims: Massage your hair upside down (preferably with oil) everyday for no longer than a week, to grow 1-5 inches. šŸ’šŸ» My experience: I laid on my bed and let my head hang over, massaging my scalp with warm coconut oil for 5 mins. Calming, but beware of dizziness. šŸ‘€ My verdict: IM SO HAPPY THIS WORKS. Since all scalps are different, the speed and length your hair grows will vary. But my hair really grew!!!
The military diet.
The military diet.
šŸ“ What it claims: Follow a 3 day diet to lose up to 10lbs. šŸ’šŸ» My experience: The food was really good and healthy. Grocery shopping was cheap or I already had the food in my fridge. Preparing it was easy. Didn't even feel hungry (and you get VANILLA ICE CREAM!) šŸ‘€ The verdict: IT WORKS (for me). The thing is, if you're really unhealthy and you do the diet, THE POUNDS WILL DROP. However if you're healthy already, don't expect to see a crazy difference. This diet is mean for women, not teens, so the calories in this diet can be proportionally too big for you. (cont..)
Use a calorie counter online to see how many calories you should be eating for your current height and eat the recommended food but with the right proportions.
Sharpie and liquid bandaid tattoo.
Sharpie and liquid bandaid tattoo.
šŸ“ What it claims: Draw a tattoo with your sharpie and then brush the liquid bandaid over it. Waterproof and long lasting. šŸ’šŸ» My experience: Fun to do and makes for cute photos. šŸ‘€ The verdict: As a tattoo for kids, yes, it works. For adults, don't. The sharpie bleeds into the lines of your skin so it looks unprofessional. The bandaid leaves a glossy finish too. It's pretty waterproof.
Diy wax.
Diy wax.
šŸ“ What it claims: Microwave honey, water and sugar to use as wax. šŸ’šŸ» My experience: Either my microwave sucks or this recipe isn't working. I tried different batches, wasted good honey and sugar (and my time) trying to get it right. I got one pretty close (but I burned myself) and it didn't really pull hair off. šŸ‘€ The Verdict: Just tweeze or buy some real wax. You'll save money and will be less likely to hurt yourself.
