Toasted Coconut White Chocolate Chunk Cookies! 🍪🍪🍪
Prep time : 2 hours 10 mins Bake time : 12 mins Total time : 2 hours 22 mins Yield: 24 cookies Ingredients: 🔸1 cup sweetened flaked coconut 🔸1 1/4 cups all purpose flour 🔸 1/2 tsp baking soda 🔸 1/4 tsp salt 🔸 5 tbs butter 🔸 1/2 cup granulated sugar 🔸 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar 🔸 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 🔸 1 large egg 🔸 1 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350'F. Spread the coconut in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 7 minutes or until the coconut is a light brown; set aside to cool. In a medium sized bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir with a whisk. In a separate larger bowl, combine the butter and sugar, until no clumps remain. Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, stirring until just moistened.Mix in the vanilla and egg. Gently fold in the chocolate chips and the coconut. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Instructions con't : Roll the dough into 1 tbs sized balls. Place the dough balls 2 inches apart onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or silicone mat. Bake for 12 minutes. Allow the cookies to cool on the pan for 10 minutes before moving to wire rack to completely cool. Enjoy!
