Ultimate Music Festival Survival Guide

Summer is here and that means music festivals. So, you may be wondering what to take with you. This is just a small guide to keep in mind what you should take.

You will want a light weight back pack to keep all of your stuff in. Expect it to be searched so don't put anything illegal in there. Also, ziplock bags to keep things dry in case it rains.

Number one thing is WATER. LOTS AND LOTS OF WATER. You can usually buy it, but it will be expensive so you should take your own. If they allow you, also take some small snacks because you want to eat throughout the day. Healthy is the way to go since you'll be out in the heat.

You will want sunscreen because chances are, you will be in direct sunlight all day. Spray on is much easier then the lotion.

Hand sanitizer. Porta-potties. Enough said.

Baby wipes go with the hand sanitizer. You never know what you'll touch in a porta-potty. Plus you don't know if they will have anything to wipe with. And if you get sweaty and disgusting, you can halfway clean up.

Extra socks in case it rains. Possibly extra shoes, but definitely socks. You don't want to have to have soaking wet soaks all day. I wouldn't advise sandals, boots, or heels/wedges. Should be a given, but there's always someone that does it. Sneakers are the way to go.

Rain poncho. In case it rains. Then you won't be totally soaked. Also, an extra outfit in the car is a good idea.

You will want to get cash out for merch and anything else you want to buy. Most places accept cards or have atms, but it's easiest to just take cash with you. Just in case.

A hat to shade yourself from the sun. Probably not one like this. 😝

Sunglasses because it will probably be bright out most of the day and you never know which way you'll be facing.

You'll want to take your phone and charge it completely before you go. Take a charger, but they may not have charging stations.

Camera. Obviously. Not a professional one, because they probably won't let you take it in, but a small digital one is perfect.
