You Can Make Your Own Rock Candy! Please Like :)

You can make your own rock candy at home! Super easy to do. Fun to eat, fun to watch form, and best of all- you're sneaking in a chemistry lesson at the same time!!

All you need is: 1 cup water 4 cups sugar Food Coloring Jar Wooden Skewers

Boil water then slowly pour in sugar, allowing it to dissolve as you pour. When it won't dissolve anymore and starts to build up at bottom of pot add a few drops of food coloring. Pour sugar/water into jar carefully so you don't let in any undissolved sugar. Put skewers into the mixture.

After about an hour crystals should start forming. But if you can hold out and wait a few days to weeks, the candy will form large crystals! Have fun and Enjoy!! :)
