Makes: 5 servings Serving Size: 6 ounces Start to Finish: 15 mins Ingredients 1 orange 3 cups whole milk 2/3 cup vanilla-flavored baking pieces or vanilla-flavored candy coating 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1 teaspoon vanilla Whipped cream (optional) Ground nutmeg (optional) Purchased marshmallow ghosts Directions Remove peel of orange with vegetable peeler; set aside. In a medium saucepan combine 1/4 cup of the milk, the vanilla-flavored baking pieces, orange peel, and nutmeg; whisk over low heat until baking pieces are melted.
Remove orange peel. Whisk in remaining milk and heat through. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Serve warm in mugs. Add a marshmallow ghost, dollop with whipped cream, and sprinkle with nutmeg, if desired. Ingredients 1 32 ounce container chai tea concentrate (black tea) 1/2 cup sugar 8 inches stick cinnamon 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn 1 medium lime or lemon, sliced 1 medium orange, sliced 1 32 ounce bottle club soda, chilled Ice cubes Cinnamon sticks (optional) Sliced orange, lime, and key limes (optional) Whole basil leaves (optional) Directions Pour chai tea concentrate into a large container or pitcher. Stir in sugar. Add 8 inches stick cinnamon, torn basil, sliced lime, and sliced orange. Cover and chill 4 to 24 hours.
Strain mixture, discarding solids. Just before serving, slowly add club soda to chai mixture. Serve over ice cubes. If desired, garnish with additional cinnamon sticks, citrus slices, and whole basil leaves. Makes 10 (6-ounce) servings. To make the buggy garnish, use a wooden skewer, lime rinds, and maraschino cherries for a spooky body, adding cloves for the bug's eyes.

Ingredients 2 3 ounces packages lime-flavored gelatin 1 3 ounce package orange-flavored gelatin 1 3 ounce package cherry-flavored gelatin 3 12 ounces cans or bottles lemon-lime carbonated beverage, chilled 1 10-ounce jar red maraschino cherries, drained and stemmed Rubber frogs (optional) Directions Prepare each package of gelatin according to package directions, except add only the boiling water called for; stir to dissolve the gelatin. Do not add any additional water.
Prepare lime-flavored gelatin in a 4-cup container; prepare orange- and cherry-flavored gelatins in separate 2-cup containers. Cover the containers and chill at least 2 hours or until set. Cut gelatin into 1/2-inch cubes. Place about one-third of each flavor of gelatin in a blender container. Add one can or bottle of lemon-lime carbonated beverage. Cover and pulse with 2 to 3 on/off turns or until the gelatin and broken up into smaller pieces. Stir in one-third of the cherries. Pour into serving glasses.
Repeat with the remaining gelatin and carbonated beverage. If desired, garnish with rubber frogs.

Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. If desired, sweeten to taste with honey.
To serve, pour into mugs. If desired, garnish with lime slices and kumquats. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
