Leftover Halloween Candy Cookies!
Ingredients needed: 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp of sea salt 2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter 1 1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1 large egg plus 1 egg yolk 2 tsp vanilla extract 1 1/2 roughly chopped leftover Halloween candy of your choice
How to: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Whisk the dry ingredients together, except for sugar, in a medium size bowl. Melt butter on a sauce pan over medium heat. Whisk butter and remove from heat as soon as the butter beings to brown. Transfer butter to another bowl to prevent burning. Let cool for a few minutes. Beat the butter and sugars for 2 minutes until thoroughly blended. Beat in the egg, yolk, and vanilla until combined. Add dry ingredients slowly and beat on low speed just until combined. Press dough into a greased and parchment lined pan. -->
Press the chopped candy into the dough and add on top as well. Bake for about 18-20 minutes until lightly golden ok top. Let cool, cut and enjoy! Follow for more tips❀️
