Coconut Oil Hair and Face Mask

Your going to need: Organic Cocunut oil ( FYI, the kind I get is NOT already in oil form, it is in a jar in solid form) Sugar(granulated) Hair Towel Shampoo And a shower Optional: Fragrances(lavender and such) Plastic Hair Cap

Procedures: It is best to do this when your hair is dirty, before you get in the shower. Pre-mask: Throw your head towel in the dryer to warm it up and do the masks while it's warming up. 1) Take your jar of coconut oil and soak it in warm-hot water for just a few mins to soften and warm it up. 2) After it's softened open the jar and take a handful out, and from root to tip(focusing on the ends primarily) coat the hair in a layer of coconut oil. 3) After your hair is fully coated in the oil, wrap your whole head in a hot towel, fresh out of the dryer;) 4) Put on the plastic shower cap

Procedures (continued) 5) Wait however long you'd like to keep it in, but I'd say the best amount of time is 30mins-1hr, but then again, that's just my preference. 6) Take off the plastic shower cap and the towel and take a shower! NOTE: My first attempt at this turned out REALLY bad because I used Conditioner (unknowingly) and was frantically trying to get the dang stuff out of my hair! That happened because I was careless and did not use shampoo! Which gets it all out easily! If it doesn't come out, shampoo one more time with dandruff shampoo, which works WONDERS!!!

That's it! After you take a shower just do whatever you'd like! I prefer to let my hair air dry instead of blow drying! Your hair should be soft and luxurious! I recommend doing this treatment once a month. Face Mask: Put sugar in a bowl with a tablespoon or so of (does not have to be warmed) coconut oil and mix together to create a THICK paste. Rub onto skin and use as an exfoliater. You can even add some essential oils to make it smell delightful. Wash face after about 2 mins when some of the oil has been absorbed and the sugar is left on face;)
