Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork Laced with Vegetables!!

This is a great meal to freeze in bulk!
Dr. Pepper Pulled pork Laced with Vegetables
This recipe was adapted from the Crockn Girls
1 4 lb pork roast
1 can of Dr. Pepper
1 cup BBQ sauce
2 whole zucchini, shredded
2 cups carrots, chopped

1 can of Dr. Pepper
1 cup BBQ sauce
2 whole zucchini, shredded
2 cups carrots, chopped

1) In a crock pot, put in your pork with some salt and pepper. Add the BBQ sauce and Dr. Pepper

2) Cook for several hours. When you see the pork starting to ” pull apart” cut the rope off and shred meat. You will want to add the shredded zucchini and chopped carrots at this time.

It is amazing how these vegetables ” disappear” into the pulled pork. Your picky eater will never know they are there!
I wanted to wait until the Dr. Pepper had been absorbed into the pork before adding the vegetables. I didn’t want the vegetables to be filled with the Dr. Pepper. Although I suppose it would all have cooked together eventually anyway.
