French Onion Soup Recipe

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup of butter or margerine
3 onions
2 cloves of garlic
1cup of wine
4 cups of beef broth
salt and pepper
bagutte
swiss cheese
DIRECTIONS
melt butter in large pot add chopped onions & garlic on low/ medium heat until onions are soft and caremelized Add wine, simmer on low heat until most of it has evaporated. add beef broth. season as needed.
pour soup into an oven safe bowl. Add baguette slices and top with swiss cheese. bake in oven on 350 until cheese has melted and lightly golden.
