French Onion Soup

After about 15 minutes, add some flour & stir.

Cook on low for about 15 minutes.

While the onions are cooking, add 5 beef bouillon cubes to 1 cup hot water.

Add the beef bouillon cubes & cup of water to onions + 1/2 cup of water. The flour will stick to bottom of pan, that's supposed to happen. After you put water in, scrape the bottom of the pan until the browned flour comes up & mix in. Continue to cook on low for 30 minutes.

Add 3 cups of water & simmer for 2 hours.

I like to add green onions, but they are optional.

Add a slice of French bread & mozzarella cheese (or any bread/cheese) you prefer & broil in oven until cheese is melted & slightly brown.
