How To Grow Long, Beautiful, Healthy, Lustrous Hair!

Before Anything else, I need you guys to understand something. Growing hair has 2 key ingredients. If you ignore these, you will not be happy with the results, you may not even get results. So keep an open mind.
PATIENCE
&
DIET
1. Patience
You have to understand that your hair will not grow to waist length in a day or 2. It is going to take some patience in this process.
2. Diet
You hate this word, I did too before I understood its importance. First, let me explain that the word ''diet'' means eating healthy and getting nutrients in your body. It does NOT mean eating very little to lose weight. Eat foods that have a lot of protein in them, such as salmon, walnuts, oysters, sweet potatoes, eggs, spinach, lentils, greek yogurt, blueberries, and poultry. You can also find a list of foods rich in protein on the internet.
3. Hydration
Keep your hair hydrated well by drinking water. Drink as much as you can, however most people recommend 6-8 glasses a day. This also means you have to cut back on soda's and anything dehydrating. I used to be a cola maniac. Now I barely have any and it is way better for your body. At first, try cutting back a glass or two, and keep going. Before you know it you will cut it out completely.
4. Don't wash your hair everyday
Washing your hair everyday strips it of its natural oils, which is very drying. Instead, try and wash your hair 3 days in a week. I personally wash my hair on sunday and wednesday.
5. Try not to use heat on your hair
I used to straighten my hair every single day. It was a disaster. Try setting a limit to your heat products. for example, only use your hair straightner 2 times this week. remember cut back gradually, it'll be easier that way. If you are going to use heat, don't forget to protect it. This is very very VERY crucial to your hair's health.
6. wash your hair correctly
Very important. First, start by wetting your hair with warm water, rinse it good! Next, take about a dime size of shampoo and lather it on to your scalp, only your scalp! With your fingers massage your head, going back and forth with your hands and moving your fingers individually in small circles. Then, with warm water, rinse your scalp while continueing with the massage. Rinse, Rinse, Rinse! Next, grab a dime sized amount of conditioner. Apply the conditioner between to scalp and ends. Basically, on the bottom portion of your hair avoiding the ends. =====>
Leave it on for 5 minutes. Take this time to adjust the temperature to a lukewarm (but on the cold side) temperature. rinse your hair with the water and you should be good to go! continue with your basic shower routine!
A few more tips......
-only get your hair trimmed if necessary
-don't brush your hair when it is wet
-take biotin or a vitamin like hair skin nails. (look it up on google)
