How To Make Halloween Candy Cookies
How to make Halloween candy cookies: Ingredients: • 2 sticks of butter • 1 cup white sugar • 1 cup brown sugar • 2 eggs • 2 tsps vanilla • 3 cups flour • 1 cup oats • 1 tsp salt • 1 tsp baking soda • Halloween candy (chopped up if necessary. Also chocolate with no nougat works best.)
Directions: 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease the cookie sheet or use a silpat. 2. Put the butter in a mixer and mix it until it is fluffy. 3. Put a cup of white sugar and a cup of brown sugar in the mixer and mix until everything is combined. 4. Crack the eggs into the mixing bowl and add the vanilla and mix again. 5. In a separate bowl, put the flour, salt, baking soda, and oats in. Gently stir them together with a fork.
6. Put the flour into the mixing bowl a little bit at a time so you won't get flour everywhere when you turn the mixer on. When you get all of the flour mixture in, stir it until everything is combined. 7. Unwrap the candy and chop it up if it's too big. Then put all the candy in the mixing bowl and stir it a bit to distribute the candy.
8. Make the cookies on the baking sheet. I made mine a little big so that there were more candy chunks in them and I could fit six on my cookie sheet. 9. Put them in the oven and bake them for about 13-15 minutes depending on how big or small they are. 10. When the timer goes off, they should be golden around the edges. Take them out of the oven and let them cool. Serve and enjoy!
