How To Snack Healthy As A College Student

Whether you want to prevent gaining that freshman fifteen or you want to live off of something other than ramen noodles in college, this list of healthy snacks will help guide you on the do's and dont's of everything from inbetween classes to pulling all nighters!

ON THE RUN: Fruits (apples, bananas, grapes, etc. These can be dried too) Low fat string cheese mini muffins (are always yummy:) you can find healthy recipes online) Power or granola bars
FOR THAT WEIRD HOUR BETWEEN CLASSES: Low fat or fat free Greek yogurt Low fat cheese Whole grain crackers (optional laughing cow cheese to accompany) Raw veggie and humus mix
NIGHTLY STUDY SESSIONS: Sugar free hot chocolate (this gives you as much energy as coffee without the crash and the calories.) SKIM lattes Instant oatmeal w/ dried fruit Low sodium soup Fresh fruit smoothies Baked edamame
FOR THE ALL NIGHTERS: Baby carrots and celery Raw zucchini Lays light potato chips Sugar free lattes Rice cakes Air popped popcorn Dry cereal (Special K with dried fruit is delicious!)
