For the "chocolate filling", I globbed spoonfuls of refrigerated hot fudge (not hot) onto some wax paper and placed in the freezer.
**Just FYI, hot fudge doesn't freeze. It just gets really cold and stiff. So, place in the freezer as soon as you can after placing on the wax paper, it melts fast

Place cookie dough in fridge or freezer for a couple hours, then form the dough into 1 inch balls and set aside. Either flatten or make a bowl out of a dough ball, then scoop some of the fudge into the center of the 'bowl' and then enclose the fudge in the center of the dough ball.

Place in the freezer for a few hours, best if overnight.
