Cabbage Soup Diet You Will Need... 6 large green onions, 2 green peppers, 1 or 2 cans of tomatoes (diced or whole), 3 Carrots, 1 Container (10 oz. or so) Mushrooms, 1 bunch of celery, half a head of cabbage, 1 package Lipton soup mix, ( I used 2 made it taste better) 1 48oz can V8 juice (optional), Season to taste with salt, pepper, parsley, curry, garlic powder, etc.
Day one - You may eat as much fruit as you want, when you want (excluding bananas), and as much cabbage soup as you want. You may drink black coffee, unsweetened tea, cranberry juice or, preferably, water Day two - You may eat all the vegetables you want, be they raw or cooked (excluding peas, dry beans and sweetcorn. You can have as much cabbage soup as you want, when you want, and one large baked potato with butter for dinner
Day three - On this day, you may eat as much fruit and vegetables as you like (excluding the same things you were told not have on days one and two), and as much cabbage soup as you like - but no baked potatoes Day four - Today you can eat bananas. You can eat however many you wish, as long as the number is under eight. You can also have as much skimmed milk as you like on this day, and as much cabbage soup. Day five - You can have 300-500g of beef (that's around 10-20 ounces) and as many as six fresh tomatoes (less if you wish). If you do not like beef, you may have skinless broiled chi
Day six - On this day, you may have as many vegetables as you like (excluding the ones we told you to avoid earlier, and no baked potatoes) and as many as three steaks, if you wish. You can have as much cabbage soup as you like, but you must have it at least once Day seven - You may have as many vegetables as you wish, and as much brown rice and unsweetened fruit juice. Have as much cabbage soup as you like, but have it at least once.
To Make The soup... To make the soup - Slice green onions, put in a pot and start to saute with cooking spray. Cut Everything else into bite size pieces and add to the pot a you go. Soup Mix, and Salt and Pepper to taste If you want a spic soup add Curry or Cayenne Pepper. Add 8 cups of water or till soupy, Cover and Let simmer I found 4 hours worked perfect!
