Healthy Bounty Bars! Vegan + Gluten Free!!!🍫😋☺️❤️
Coconut centre: 1 cup coconut flour, sifted 1/2 cup shredded, unsweetened coconut 1/4 cup coconut palm sugar (adjust to sweetness desired) ½ tsp sea salt 1/4-1/2 cup almond breeze almond milk* Chocolate coating version 1: 1/4 cup cocoa powder, sifted 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted 1 T coconut sugar Chocolate coating version 2: 1 x block dark dairy free chocolate, melted
Instructions: 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the coconut flour, shredded coconut, coconut sugar and sea salt and stir until combined. Slowly add the almond milk until a thick, firm dough is formed. 2. In a small bowl, melt the chocolate. 3. Line a plate with baking paper. Form bite sized chunks of the coconut centre. Using two forks, dip the chunks in the melted chocolate coating completely and set aside on the plate. Repeat until all the coconut centre is used up. Refrigerate for at least an hour, until the chocolate exterior and firmed up.
