How To Prevent Acne During Workouts

Being sweaty can cause acne but here are some tips to help you stay in shape without having to worry about getting acne:)

Cleanse your face before you workout to make sure theres no extra build up on your face before you even workout! Also, avoid wearing heavy amounts of makeup:)

Showering after you workout is a good way of cooling off and getting all the sweat off:) but if you dont have time to shower right after just wash your face and wipe your back and chest off with a cleansing wipe:)

Wear loose clothing! The tighter the clothes the more the bacteria and sweat will build up:) many athletic brands like nike, under armour and other brands offer sweat preventing clothing too:)

Wipe down any gym equipment before using it with antibacterial wipes. Otherwise the germs and sweat that get on your hand from the last person will end up on your face or chest and cause more acne and build up:)

Bring a towel or two. Wipeing sweat off with your hands is probably the worst thing you can do! It clogs your pores and leads to acne! Wiping off with a mini towel is so much easier and keeps gym germs and more dirt away from your skin!:)

Exfoliating after the gym is a great way to make sure all the sweat and dirt is out of your pores! So make sure to exfoliate your chest, back , and any other areas that acne forms to make sure theres no buildup left behind:)

Take your gym clothes off as soon as possible! The longer your in them the more acne will build up! Sweaty clothes rubbing on your skin is not good for keeping acne away:)

Eat healthy and drink lots of water! The more sugar and processed foods you eat the worse your acne will be! Eat veggies, fruit, lean protiens and grains:)

Dont quit! The benefits of excercising outweigh the few belmishes youll get! If you follow the tips your acne wont get to bad from working out:)
