Sugar may very well be the main culprit!

Studies have shown that when we crave sweets, it's normally because we want to change how we feel. Sugar releases the brain chemical responsible for pleasure. Problem is that it leads to craving more sugar and overeating, plus the dreadful sugar crash.

In fact, sugar is probably the main reason you can't get rid of that lower belly fat.

Limit cravings by taking a liquid B12 vitamin as soon as you have one. Decreasing your sugar intake is the best way to start getting healthy and successfully lose weight.

Substitute unhealthy sweets by reaching for fruit instead and limit fruit juice intake. Fruit juice contains tons of sugar and lacks the fiber of fruit in its original form.

When juicing, use green apples instead of red, for less sugar.

Drink hot water after large, heavy and/or greasy meals.
Hot dissolves, cold solidifies. Consistently done, it can increase your metabolism and ease digestion. This alone is my #1 slimming secret!! Water should only be drunk after meals, not during, in order to preserve your digestive juices.

And exercise! It doesn't need to be a strenuous workout, exercise to change your brain chemistry. You'll feel better and keep from sabotaging your diet by not giving into sugar.

When on the phone:
Stand up and do a couple leg lifts out to each side. Keep your toes pointed straight forward, and keep the leg you’re lifting slightly behind your other leg to get the most out of the move.

Getting out of bed, brewing coffee or waiting on the microwave:
Do push-ups against your counter top. Put both hands on the edge of the counter, lower your body toward it, then push up. Move your hands closer together to work your upper arm muscles to the max.

When picking up around the house:
Do a squat. Keep your back straight, bend your knees, and lower your body toward the ground. Make sure your knees do not extend over your toes. Get the item, squeeze your butt, and raise your body back up.
